She was predeceased by: her husband Deufay B. Hovey III; her son Mike Hovey (Shin); her siblings, Wes Wietsma (Judy) and Nina Krueger (Dale); and her great grandchild Shanna Seeley.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Cook (Sharon), Harold Cook (Peg), Greg Hovey (Beth), Alan Hovey, Kim Bouwens (Brent), Deufay Hovey IV (Mary) and June Hovey; and her siblings, Raymond Wietsma (Johanna), Esther Verburg (Ken) and Ardis Matzen (David). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
