With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Gillespie (Southgate, Michigan), who passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Shirley's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Shirley has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Gillespie; her daughters, Lori Gillespie and Jennifer Duncan; her grandchildren, Rachel Duncan and Tyler Duncan; and her pets, Hailey, Bailey, Brooklynn and Skittles.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Home - Brownstown Chapel (23700 West Rd, Brownstown Charter Twp, MI 48183). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
