Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rose Racano of Southgate, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 86, on December 28, 2024. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dominick Racano; her children, Mariann Sardoni (Robert), Eleanor Montgomery (Harry), Anthony Racano (Jennifer), Dominick Racano Jr. and Frank Racano; her grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Tyler, Robert Jr., Frank, Dylan, Ariana, Derek, Joseph, Dominique and Giancarlo; her great grandchild Luca; and her siblings, Anthony LoCicero (Pam) and Marie Theresa Vacca (Frank). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church - Southgate (14101 Superior St, Southgate, MI 48195). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jesus Church (2 Broadway, Valhalla, NY 10595). An entombment was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Molnar Funeral Homes - Southgate Chapel (14032 Northline Rd, Southgate, MI 48195).
