He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Theisen and Patricia Theisen. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Theisen; his children, Alex Theisen and Rachael Kochis (Zachary Kochis); and his siblings, David Theisen (Pamela Theisen), Linda Campbell (Dwight Campbell) and Susan Thomas.
