He was predeceased by: his wife Helen M. Perrin; his parents, Beatrice Gordon and Leslie Perrin; and his brothers, Ronald Perrin, Gordon Perrin and Leslie Perrin.

He is survived by: his children, Robin Miles and Robert J. Jr. Perrin (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Julie Miles, Kristin Stanton (Wesley), Kayla Keith (Nate) and Korie Perrin; his great grandchildren, Cash Stanton and Knox Stanton; and his siblings, Jean Riley (late William) and William Perrin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
