He is survived by: his mother Giau Eckerty; his wife Michelle Eckerty; his daughters, Krystal and Kennedy Eckerty; his stepparents, Curtis Rueter and Sue Eckerty; his stepchildren, David Garza, Ali Kaczperski (Robert) and Brad Mead (Shannon Tylen); his grandchildren, Joanna, Emma, Leigha, Jesse, Jaxson Kaczperski, Bryce Tylen and Orion Tylen-Mead; his siblings, Debbie Smith (Mike), Rodney Eckerty (Tina McWilliams), Tommie Eckerty (Dawn Shaffer), James Eckerty (Lisa) and Kim Hui Eckerty (Courtenay); and his nieces, Chylar and Kinsley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
