She was predeceased by: her child Jose Maldonado; and her sibling Ester Acosta. She is survived by: her spouse Modesto Colon; her children, Edward Maldonado, Richard Maldonado, Carmen Keens (late Troy), Cristina Colon-Goin and Ruben Colon (Jacqueline); her granddaughter Nichole Guajardo; and her siblings, Clarita Willingham, Virginia Pechette and Frances Garcia. She is also survived by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
