She was predeceased by: her son Robert John Fortener; her parents, Caesar Prusky and Mary Prusky; and her siblings, Robert Prusky and Marlene Toth.
She is survived by: her children, John Peter Fortener II (Beverly), Dennis Robert Fortener (Bonnie), Cindy Marie Kinkead (John E.), Joseph Paul Fortener, James Patrick Fortener (Jill), Alice Jean Mariani (Gino) and Mary Margaret Johnson (Steve); her grandchildren, John Peter, J. P., Amy, Emily, Katie, Jimmy, Jessica, Meredith, Mackenzie, Madeline of Maribel, J. J., Olivia and Mary-Elizabeth; her great grandchildren, Johnny, Gabriel, Kelcie, Waylon, Penelope and Lydia; and her niece Terri Gougeon (Donnie).
