With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lanny Lengyel of Southgate, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lengyel and Lily Lengyel; and his sister-in-law Barbara Lengyel. He is survived by: his former wife Leah Melissaratos; his friend Tim McGuire; his daughter Shelly Huyck; his grandchildren, Brooke Krese, Lauren Smith (Tobey), Alexandra Huyck and Steven Huyck; his great grandchildren, Elora, Annalise, Damian, Azrael and Caine; his siblings, Larry Lengyel and Lynne Baggett (Hal); and his nephews, Michael Lengyel (Anna), Joey Lengyel (Nina) and Tim Baggett (Emily).
