He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustine Barrera and Maria Barrera; his siblings, Josephine, Esperanza, Vicki, Pascual, Tomasa and Augustine; and his grandson Dominic.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jr., Ruben, Carmella, Tony, Donna, Michael, Angie and Tina; his siblings, Cliff, Eleanor and Delores; his grandchildren, Jason, Carla, Garrett and Laicy; and his great grandchildren, Essie, Dominic, Jaiden and Sofia.
