It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Smith of Southgate, Michigan, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jo Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jo Ann. Though Jo Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Smith; her parents, Franklin English and Willie English; and her sisters, Barbara Samuels, Dortha Bridges and Marie Detwiler.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Smith; and her brother Frank English. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Home - Southgate Chapel (14032 Northline Rd, Southgate, MI 48195). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
