He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine. He is survived by: his children, James Jr. (Marie), Dennis (Abby), Gary (Traci), Carolyn Sullivan (Alan), Robert (Patti) and Joseph (Rick). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to Custom Hospice.
