He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Waldrop; and his parents, Henry Waldrop and Doris Waldrop. He is survived by: his children, Linda McCraw (Edward), Diane Syska (Michael), Debbie Smith (Brian), James Waldrop Jr. (Elizabeth), Lori Waldrop and John Waldrop (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are appreciated to Metropolitan United Methodist Church, 8000 Woodward Ave. Detroit MI, 48202.
