Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Esther Northrop of Southgate, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 92, on December 13, 2024. She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Louis Northrop; her sons, Earl Northrop Jr. and Paul Northrop; and her parents, Emil Herman and Mary Herman.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Northrop, Bob Northrop (Ingrid), Julie Sandberg (Dave) and Lois Dwornick (James); her grandchildren, Eric (Kelsey), Kurt (Han), Nick (Ashley), Melanie, Catherine, Patrick, Martin (Chelsea), Matthew, Molly (Nathan), Megan (Peter) and Melissa; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Rylee and Charlotte; and her sister Mary Lou Roberts.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Homes - Nixon Chapel (2544 Biddle Ave, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Cyprian Catholic Church (13249 Pennsylvania Rd, Riverview, MI 48193). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
