He was predeceased by: his parents, John Green and Newlan Green; his grandson John Green; and his siblings, Nora Kate Mull, Dora Mae Price and J. W. Green.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Rose Green; his son Randy Green (Peggy); and his grandson Adam Green (Rachelle Lively).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
