He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Meininger and Shirley Meininger. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Meininger; and his siblings, Nancy Garafalo, Ray Meininger (Jennifer), John Meininger (Carol), Chuck Meininger (Linda) and Marilyn Meininger.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Food Pantry and the Downriver ARC Sports Program.
