With solemn reverence, we commemorate Al Monzon (Southgate, Michigan), whose life came to an end on April 22, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael and Virginia; his son Bill; his sister Maria Christina; and his uncle Miguel.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his son Brandon Monzon (Marina); and his siblings, Ralph Monzon (Sally), Virgie Thibodeau (Michael) and Anna Borg (Manuel). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Chapel (15748 Fort St, Southgate, MI 48195). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (14101 Superior St, Southgate, MI 48195). A Mass was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Our Lady of Hope Cemetery (18303 Allen Rd, Brownstown Township, MI 48193).
