She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William Hammonds; her children, Tony Hammonds, Kimberly Burke (Eric) and Tina Adkins (Freeman); her grandchildren, Tony Hammonds (Amy), William Hammonds, Amanda VanDervort (Derek) and Wesley Adkins (Kate); her great grandchildren, Grace, Raylee, Emmalyn and Reagan; and her sisters, Cherry Strickland-Butler and Deena Revels (J. D.).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Home - Southgate Chapel (14032 Northline Rd, Southgate, MI 48195). The lying in state was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Victory Baptist Church (16750 Beech Daly Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
