She is survived by: her children, Kamal Mukhtar (Seta), Talal Mukhtar, Wisam Mukhtar (Fatina), Fatin Shafou (Hilal) and Ahlam Mukhtar; her grandchildren, Cinderella, Angela, Alan, Olivia, Andrew, Michael, Tania, Amanda and Stacey; and her great grandchildren, Lynette, Christian, Prince, Max Andre, Roman, Sonnie, Madonna, Makayla, Logan, Levi of Axel, CJ, Liam, Aria and Zander.
A vigil service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Regency Manor & Banquet Center (25228 W 12 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48034). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Chaldean Catholic Church (6900 W Maple Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48322). A committal service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033).
