She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Peter Atchoo; her parents, Habib Atchoo and Bahija Atchoo; and her siblings, Badie "Buddy" Atchoo, Betty Dawisha and Najla Daoud.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Faris Atchoo (Shahnaz), Fanar Atchoo Wright (Richard), Firas Atchoo (Lakshmi) and Fawaz Atchoo (Cyndie); her grandchildren, Jonah, Gabriel, Victoria and Nema Atchoo; and her sibling Suham Sheet.
A requiem service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Chaldean Catholic Church (6900 W Maple Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48322). A vigil service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Regency Manor & Banquet Center (25228 W 12 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48034).
