He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Schurgin; his sibling Michele Lachman; and his parents, Ruth Schurgin and Ben Schurgin. He is survived by: his children, Karen Schurgin (Robert Brunhild), Debbie Schurgin and Brian Schurgin (Tasha); his grandchildren, Rachel, Ilyssa Brunhild, Jacob, Louie Schurgin Custard, Ava and Nina Schurgin; his siblings, Miriam Silverstein (Ralph) and Arthur Schurgin (Cindy); and his siblings-in-law, Roy Lachman, Marilyn Nathanson and Alan Nathanson (Carina Haley). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 6:00 PM. A reception was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 1081 Park Pl Ct, Bloomfield Twp, MI 48302.
