He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Schaefer. He is survived by: his sons, Neil Schaefer, Lyle Schaefer, Paul Schaefer (Jodi) and Todd Schaefer; his grandchildren, Dana Heaton (Zach), Randi Schaefer (Eric Schultz), Dylan Schaefer (Tiffany Keane Schaefer), Bebe Schaefer, Matt Hughes (Caiti), Evan Hughes, Samantha Finn (Greg), Natalie Schaefer and Scott Schaefer; his great grandchildren, Maxwell Heaton and Zoe Hughes; his sister-in-law Annette Schaefer; and also, Jan Schaefer, Julie Schaefer, Kathy Schaefer and Devin Schaefer. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
