It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hani Jamil (Southfield, Michigan), who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Hani may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Regina Jamil; and his siblings, Hana Al Sheikh (late Nathim), Nida Salem (Ramzi), Wasim Jamil (Ann), Maysoon McKay (James), Haitham Jamil (Basman), Ronnie Jamil (Wafaa) and Wasan Haddad (Nick). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A requiem service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church (25585 Berg Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Luncheon & Prayer Vigil Regency Manor & Banquet Center (25228 W 12 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48034).
