She was predeceased by: her parents, Sliwa Jarbo and Georgia Najor Jarbo; her spouse Youhana Zia Sokana; and her siblings, Latif Jarbo, Saade Jarbo, Amal Jarbo Asmar, Najib Jarbo, Firyal Jarbo and Fadie Jarbo.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Sokana (Thamara), Mark Sokana (Heather), Ghayda Bahoora (Mike) and Robert Sokana; and her sibling Bashir Jarbo.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church (25585 Berg Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A committal service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Memorial Luncheon and Prayer Vigil Farmington Hills Manor (23666 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336).
