She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leon Schurgin; her children, Karen Schurgin (Robert Brunhild), Debbie Schurgin and Brian Schurgin (Tasha); her grandchildren, Rachel, Ilyssa Brunhild, Jacob, Louie Schurgin Custard, Ava and Nina Schurgin; her siblings, Marilyn Nathanson and Alan Nathanson (Carina Haley); her siblings-in-law, Roy Lachman (late Michele), Miriam Silverstein (Ralph) and Arthur Schurgin (Cindy); and her parents, Ruth Nathanson and Irwin "Buddy" Nathanson. She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
