It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Mukomel of Southfield, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Hedwig; and his daughter Kathi. He is survived by: his children, Barbara and Dan (Kelly); his grandchildren, Eric Porzadek (Sonja), Stacey Grier, Lynsey Mukomel-Wilson (Kyle) and Danielle Mukomel (Luke); and his great grandchildren, Keaton, Gabriel and Oliver.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home (23720 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Divine Providence Catholic Church (25335 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48034).
