She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Gibson and Creda Mae Gibson; her son Tommy Lee Hess; and her siblings, Lee Gibson, Roger Gibson and Otis Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Rae McArthur and Brook Ann Hess; her granddaughters, Brittany Diane Patrick (Ryan Travis Patrick) and Nicole Marilyn Laurain (Thomas Yuhana); her great grandchildren, Hayden Ryan Patrick, Connor Raymond Patrick and Riley Nicole Patrick; and her siblings, Carlene Avis, Susan Taylor, Ronald Gibson and Polly Cripps.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Solosy Funeral Home (3206 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (23723 Telegraph Rd, Brownstown Township, MI 48134).
