He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Galati and Giovanna Sclafanni Galati; and his siblings, Vita Galati, Giuseppa Galati-Vitale, Caterina Galati-Biundo, Santo Galati and Vincenzo Galati.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Neubauer (Edward), Giovanna Williams (David), Matthew Galati (Christine) and Michael Galati (Michelle); his grandchildren, Brandon Neubauer (Sara), Brittany Kersten (Jared), Corey Neubauer, Hannah Oja (Spencer), Lauren Neubauer (Kyle Branum), Evan Galati (Cassidy), Ethan Williams, Seth Galati and Grayson Galati; his great grandchildren, Riley, Ella, Faith and Stetson; and the mother of his children Dolores Galati-Boyd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
