He is survived by: his wife Rose Manninen Waltanen; his children, Ronald Luukkonen, Karen Kubala, Cheryl Ormston, Shirley Baillee, Terri McMinn, Kathleen Brunet (Chad), Abigail Bonen (Chris) and Ashlee Luukkonen; his stepdaughter Sherri Lystila (Bill); his siblings, Jack Luukkonen (Nancy), William Luukkonen (Gerry) and Shirley Luukkonen; and his siblings-in-law, John, Wayne, Ray, James (Rose), Donald, Rita Peterson and Helen Barney (Tom). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
