He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Zerbst and Ida Zerbst (Kangas); his wife Patricia Kalcich; and his siblings, Katherine, Florence, Shirley, Helen, Fred, John, Robert, Raymond, Dennis, James, David and Donald.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Zerbst; his grandchildren, Tony, Matthew, Jacob, Jeremy, Gavin and Ella; and his stepgrandchildren, Tori and Taylor.
