He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Steinmetz and Eva Steinmetz (Manderfield); and his brother Michael Manderfield. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Steinmetz (Ravasz) of South Range; his children, Lorrie Graff of Kalamazoo, MI, Gina Goudge (Jeff) of South Range and Todd Steinmetz (Meredith) of Rockwood, MI; his grandchildren, Dana Graff (Gary Brown), Marissa Johnson (Myles), Austin (Shea), Brayden Goudge, Makayla Steinmetz, Maranda Steinmetz and Monica Steinmetz; his great grandchildren, Jade, Brynlee, Dawson and Caleb; and his sister Beth Zerbst of Houghton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church (305 Portage St, Houghton, MI 49931). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
