She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Kyllonen and Kristiina Kyllonen (Hiltunen); her husband Eino Kurtti; her siblings, Martha Kangas, Arne and Eino Kyllonen; and her niece Judith Pesola.
She is survived by: her niece Sharon Pietila (Paul); and her nephew Dennis Kyllonen (Eleanore).
In lieu of flowers, the family requested memorials be made to the Range Apostolic Lutheran Church or the Omega House in memory of Marie Kurtti.
