He is survived by: his wife Noreen; his children, Steven Samples (Heather), Caitlyn Witek (Tim), Mark Samples (Alyssa), Christopher Schneider (Katie), Lauren Springall (Doug) and Timothy Schneider (Amanda); his grandchildren, Eleanor, Jackson, Niko, Nayla, Cael, Lucian, Tyler, Cameron, Silas, River and Oskar; and his siblings, Fred Schneider (Ruth), Christine Schneider and Margaret Alexander (Steve).

Memorial donations to the Michigan Parkinson's foundation will be accepted at the service.
