He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Schulz; his parents, Karl Schulz and Phyllis Schulz; his sister Carol; and his brother-in-law Bob Boyd.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Schulz, Kevin Schulz (Josie), John Schulz, Kurt Schulz (Michelle) and Karen Schulz. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
