She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shaffer and Bessie Shaffer; her husband Finis Long; her daughter Kathryn Lakvold; and her siblings, Ruth Shaffer of John Shaffer, W. O, Sarah Karnes, Alyeene Nanney and Dorothy Jackson.
She is survived by: her son Larry Long; her sister Naomi Shaffer; and her close friends, Ava Gibcomb Hatch, Frank Hatch, Dean and Huston Pennycuff. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
