He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Giordano and Ruth Giordano; and his brother Dwayne. He is survived by: his wife Jayne; his sons, Michael (Christina) and Mathew (Jamie); his grandchildren, Briana (Logan), Dominic, Gianna and Ellisyn; and his siblings, Rick, Jerry, Jeff and JoAnn.

“Our deepest condolences and prayers to the Giordano family. Mike was an all-around class act and down to earth, good man who showed respect to everyone. We will always remember his contributions to Catholic Central hockey, and the Detroit Red Wing alumnus/CC fund raising hockey games he arranged. We always enjoyed seeing and talking to him at the CC hockey post-game get togethers at Buddy's Pizza in Livonia every Saturday, and CC alumnus events over the years. He will really be missed!”
