It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Rae of South Lyon, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phyllis Elaine Mills Rae and Robert D. Rae; his wife Donna Carol Elwood Rae; his children, John Jr. (Melissa) and Amy Rae Davis (Zachary); his grandchildren, Mary Kate, Jack, Bobby, Joey, Seth and Gabriel; his siblings, James (Donna) and Barbara Rae McConnell (David); his sister-in-law Karen Rae; and his brother Robert. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, and to honor Jack's love of music and giving spirit, monetary gifts to the family will be given to The Detroit Youth Choir in Jack's memory.
