She was predeceased by: her parents, Caldwell Beattie and Elizabeth Beattie; and her husband Cecil Hewison. She is survived by: her brother Caldwell Beattie; her children, Christopher Hewison (Marybeth), Robert Hewison and Carol Smithson; and her grandchildren, Robbie, Natalie, Graham and Conor.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to plant spring flowers in her honor.
