He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Mindling and Annabel Mindling; and his brothers, Dick and Tom. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Kennard); his children, Jane Seramur, Jim Jr. (Andrea), Tim (Karen), John (Glenna) and Leslie (Jeff Kragt); his grandchildren, Liz, Chelsea, Jessie, Matt, David, Danielle, Kati, Jen, Shane, Ryan, Andra, Caylie, Joshua, Christa, Julianna, Abigail, Illyas, Tim, Lydia, Pete, Rebecca, Anna, Emily, Jack, Nathan and Maddie; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Sophie, Avery, Adah, Susie and Silas.
