He was predeceased by: his former wife Annette; and his brothers, Maurice Rudd and Charles Rudd. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Jennifer Springer (John), Gregory Rudd and Allison Loyselle (Jeremy); his stepchildren, Michelle Herbert (Eric), Andrea Holme (Rick) and Barb Fields (Josh); his grandchildren, Justin, Trent, Tyler, Nick, Luke, Natalie, Jason and Danielle; and his sister Jean McClaren (John).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arbor Hospice.
