He was predeceased by: his son William Howard Cowan. He is survived by: his children, Joyce Ledwidge-Blaney (Frank), Bev Racer (Mike), Bob Cowan (Kathleen), Pat Brown, Janice Wells (Doug) and Debbie White (Mike). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
