He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clair and Mary Clair (Gill); his wife Frances Clair; his brother William Clair; and his son-in-law Curtis Schlak.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Clair (Nicoli), Debra Clair-Schlak and William Clair (Bonnie); his sister Lillian Multop; and his grandchildren, Jami (Jason), Kristine (Thavy), Benjamin (Kate), Jana (Sean), Gwen (Steve), Adam (Tanya), Dan (Delle), Joshua (Sherry) and Michael (Ashley). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
