He is survived by: his wife Frances Goers; his children, Ed Goers, James Goers (Dottie Weinberger), Randy Goers, Mary Goers Scheffer (Scott) and Norma Goers; his brother Roger Goers (Wanda); and his sister-in-law Barbara Goers. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
