He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tomakowski and Susan Marie Mullan; and his sister Nancy Brownell. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Stephanie Marchi (Michael); his grandchildren, Maria and Massimo; and his siblings, Susan Jones (Jeffrey), Joseph Tomakowski (Diane), John Thomas (Judie), Judy Zimmerman and Colleen Ainsworth (Robert). He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Phillips Funeral Home (122 W Lake St, South Lyon, MI 48178). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
