She was predeceased by: her parents, George Steinmetz and Rosemary Steinmetz; her daughter Elisabeth; her siblings, Joyce Steinmetz and David Steinmetz; and her brother-in-law Raymond Everett.
She is survived by: her husband David; her daughters, April Everett and Kimberly Hutchens; her grandchildren, Alexis and Aiden Hutchens; and her siblings, Ann Kummerer (David), Diana Wise (Edward), Steve Steinmetz (Judy), Bonnie Ballard (Gary) and Denise Everett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the family or Michigan Humane Society.
