She is survived by: her parent Elsie Melchert; her children, Larry Janes (Linda Danielson) of South Lyon, Carol Dameworth (Kerry) of Greenbush, Keith Janes (Julie Boyce) of Howell, David Janes (Shannon Raymond) of Westland and Cheryl Schembri (Mark) of Howell; and her siblings, Leona Melchert, Albert Melchert and Loretta Boike (Carl). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
