He is survived by: his parents, Elmer Luchies and Ann Luchies (Schuiteman); his spouse Winifred DeGroot; his sons, Rodney Luchies and Russell Luchies; his siblings, Eleanor VanAntwerpen and Randy "Luke" Luchies; his daughter Rose Lindemulder (Jim) of South Haven; his daughters-in-law, Sandra Luchies of Kalamazoo and Betty Luchies of Three Rivers; and his brother Jerry Luchies of Hartford. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
