He was predeceased by: his close friends, Jimmy Kerr, David Haylock and David Prideaux. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Galloup; his daughters, Emilie Hastings of Howell, MI and Jeannie Withington (Scott) of Murral's Inlet, SC.; his grandchildren, Claire, Jack, Charlie, Michael, Patrick Withington, Joseph, Gabrielle Mena, Mary Emma, Kennedy Lee and Briar Leanne Mockabee; his brother Robert Barr (Rebecca); and also, Elizabeth Barr (Bizzy Allen), Lisa Mockabee (Tim) of Middleburg, FL and Katie McMillan of South Haven, MI.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Basil Catholic Church (513 Monroe Blvd, South Haven, MI 49090). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2435 W Territorial Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49015).
