She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Mielke; and her brother Paul Mielke. She is survived by: her mother Kay Mielke (Nower) of South Haven, MI; her siblings, Mark Mielke of South Haven, MI, Mike Mielke (Tiffanni) of South Haven, MI, Tommie Mielke (Melea) of Kalamazoo, MI, Lisa Portolese (Mike) of Mishawaka, IN and Karla Warriner (Lincoln) of Jackson, MI; her nieces and nephews, Dominique (Rob), Nathan, Paulette, Josh, Katie (Matt), Michael, Olivia, Abby, Karah, Ryan (Emily), Emily, Audrey (Austin), Ben, Heaven, Caleb, Lily, Noah, Thomas and Matthew; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nolan, Theo, Milo, Ava and Ellie. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Continuing her giving ways, Marie has donated her body to research at Western Michigan University. In lieu of flowers, friends can make a memorial contribution to the WMed Body.
