He is survived by: his parents, Burel and Shirley Burnett, Jr. of Benton Harbor, Michigan; his close friend Mike Vermerris of Grand Rapids; his sons, Scott Burnett of Saint Joseph and Adam Burnett (Brennigan) of Holland, Michigan; his granddaughter Isla Burnett; his siblings, Todd Burnett (Kathy) of Minneapolis, Hank Burnett of Benton Harbor and Lesa Marie Ashton (Phil) of Benton Harbor, Michigan; his nieces, Abigail Ashton and Kaitlyn Allen; and his nephew Tyler Burnett.
